The following email was sent to members of Western Mass Catholic Homeschoolers. To Join please email wmch@crossfire.org

Hello Friends, and we hope you are having a lovely summer full of refreshment.

Prayer:
We have been asked to pray for Ann Millet’s mother, Mildred, who has blood clots in her lungs, and for their family. We have also been asked to pray for those searching for work (including my husband and John H), for college students trying to solve their financial aid dilemmas and for everyone traveling.

Conference:
The Observer –week of June 19, and Real to Reel – Saturday July 11, each did a beautiful piece about the Conference. Our thank you’s to everyone involved!
Also we have received lovely thank you notes from the ministries we supported. Also Cindy Montanaro would like to announce that the summer issue of “The Traditionalist” is out with an excerpt from Diary of a Country Mother interspersed with photos of Tim. If you would like to see the article send me an email— the attachment is large.

Newsletter:
Only 10 people have sent me their membership registration for next year—and while I appreciated the needed break I do want to have everything in place for next year before the September edition arrives in your home in August.

Free Furniture:

There is a lawyer in our office building in Holyoke who is moving into a

smaller office.  She has a large office desk, a credenza, a secretary

(fold down desk/cabinet), a copier(single sheet feed) and a curio style

cabinet that she needs to get rid within the next week.  Give me a call

at 315-9999 if interested and I will put you in touch.  She is also

throwing out a bunch of law books if anyone is interested in those.

Christine

  • Statement of Purpose

Our families come together in order to support each other, as obedient Roman Catholics, and to bring the Catholic way of life to greater fruition and brilliance in our homes. We have as our foundation, and the guiding principle of all our activities, fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, especially to our pope, Benedict XVI, vicar of Christ. Thus we affirm the Magisterium on contraception and other life issues as central to our mission as families. As emphasized in the Second Vatican Council, we parents have a most solemn obligation to educate our offspring. Therefore we are the primary educators of our children. As lay faithful, we are dedicated to promoting home education among Catholic families and to support those families who are engaged in providing their children’s primary education at home.
