Thank you to our Speakers, Vendors, Hosts and especially all who came to enjoy. I hope it brought you inspiration and peace to see so many other Catholic Homeschoolers in one place.

And– my dear, dear friends who volunteered– you are Blessing itself sent straight from God. Thank you for letting Christ use your hands and feet and time and talent till you left exhausted.  A special thank you to our teens, you know I LOVE teens, and its because you have such energy and enthusiasm and you teach me so much! Thank you! Remember you are not just the future of the Church, you ARE the Church now! You give us our renewal of hope daily!

For the best information go to our new, secondary site at http://nechc.wordpress.com

The owner of stblogs is working on his host site because changes we make have not saved. Today I lost all the links of the Vendors attending. But the new site seems stable.

Places to Go with Children

May 13, 2010 | Comments Off

A member of the planning committee has created a great Blog post about things to do in the area. Her name is Cheryl and her site is My Thoughtful Spot. The post is here.

It would be very easy to make a full family vacation in this beautiful area of New England! Families may want to have Dad take the children on one of these great adventures while Mom, the nursing baby and the High School students enjoy the Conference.

We do apologize that we cannot host all your children. The logistics, volunteers, and insurance issues would simply be too much for our new Conference and small support group. Maybe someday…..

  • Statement of Purpose

Our families come together in order to support each other, as obedient Roman Catholics, and to bring the Catholic way of life to greater fruition and brilliance in our homes. We have as our foundation, and the guiding principle of all our activities, fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, especially to our pope, Benedict XVI, vicar of Christ. Thus we affirm the Magisterium on contraception and other life issues as central to our mission as families. As emphasized in the Second Vatican Council, we parents have a most solemn obligation to educate our offspring. Therefore we are the primary educators of our children. As lay faithful, we are dedicated to promoting home education among Catholic families and to support those families who are engaged in providing their children’s primary education at home.
